Painting & Coatings

Flora Cooperative ensures that paint is applied to properly prepared surfaces, to obtain longevity and protection of your buildings substrates. Color retention is obtained through the application of high-quality primers and paint products. We work closely with facilities maintenance, general contractors, designers and architects when specifying the scope of work, adhesion, and correct products to enhance a building’s interior and exterior surfaces.

We are a proud member of the Wallcovering Installers Association. Formerly the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers (NGPP), the Wallcovering Installers Association (WIA) is the only trade association dedicated exclusively to the interests and needs of wallpaper installation professionals who maintain high standards and a commitment to quality work. Our in-house union graphics and digital print lab can provide designers, architects and general contractors with immediate access to custom wall coverings, murals, signage, decals, logo installation, and customized wallpaper.

Bling

- Bling! Beads are metallic enriched which allows inkjet machines to combine typical CMYK ink and create a whole new set of sparkling colors. The metallic particles in the base film will mix nicely with the spray of solvent inkjet to give any color a metallic dazzle.
  For the first time in the digital print industry you can create Gold, Silver, Bronze, Copper and more. Create stunning new wallcovering or POP displays. Commercial wallcovering grade material is a 2 ply product with a Glass Bead embossing on the printable surface. This product carries Type II certification for scrubbability, tensile and tear (medium to heavy duty). This product is Class A fire rated and meets NFPA ratings for smoke development.

- This Type II wallcovering grade material is a 2 ply product with a textured metallic embossing on the printable surface. Recommended for indoor use or short term outdoor, this product is ideal for murals, special effect signs, and wallcoverings. This product carries Type II certification for scrubbability, tensile and tear (medium to heavy duty). This product is Class A fire rated and meets NFPA ratings for smoke development.

platinium

- Satara Pearl combines a unique embossed surface along with a proprietary pearl coating. The result is a more subdued, yet highly sophisticated and luxurious sheen. Satara Pearl looks and feels like fabric – but it is in fact a fully functional commercial vinyl. Most metallic base materials in the inkjet print world are limited to UV curable systems, but Satara Pearl is compatible with all major inkjet technologies – Solvent, Eco-Solvent, Latex and UV. Satara Pearl will help designers achieve new visual effects while using their existing CMYK ink sets, and is also available in a Satara Steel version. Light ink colors can be blended with the pearl finish to create stunning and convincing metallic highlights. Satara Pearl also meets the digital printing industry’s standards for materials that enhance image impact and color, depth, dimension and durability. These new products are a Type II commercial digital wallcoverings with Class “A” fire ratings. Satara Pearl is ideal for both short run and high-volume digital production applications
